Damru Ninad, a kolkata based nationally acclaimed organisation, has recently successfully
concluded their 4 th Indian Classical dance and music festival 2022 in association with Eastern Zonal Cultural Center, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. Damru Ninad has organized this festival on two days of two different months to let all witness and enjoy a series of glorious performances by the performing artist members of Damru Ninad, many of them are well-recognized personalities in the field of Indian Classical Dance.
Total 19 performers performed in this prestigious festival. The performers who have performed in this festival are, Sri Tanay Halder, Sri Atanu Das, Smt. Nilanjana Mukherjee, Smt. Shibangi Rattna Baruah, Smt. Sayeri Ghosh Nandan, Miss. Samadrita dey, Miss Aritrika Mukherjee, Miss Suryatapa Ray, Miss Ipshita Bose, Miss Debanjana Biswas, Miss. Paramita Chakraborty, Miss Samridhhi Mitra, Miss Abhishikta Gupta, Miss Udisha Pathak, Master Agniva Biswas, Miss Subhadeepa Dey, Miss Somshri Biswas, Miss Laavanya Ghosh. Miss Somsri Biswas & Miss Lavanya ghosh got the opportunity to perform in this festival through competition conducted by damru Ninad.
In this festival Sri Kusal Bhattacharya, an eminent kathak exponent from kolkata performed as a guest along with his team. Damru Ninad also had Smt. Prantika Mukherjee, a famous bharatnatyam exponent from kolkata as a guest performer. The 2 Days festival was compered by Sri Dipayan Ghosh & Miss Shinjana Sarkar respectively.
The main motto of the festival was to spread the values of Indian classical culture into the core of the society. Damru Ninad has always tried to bring on talented youth to showcase their ability in front of all. The festival was a grand success. Other Guests who have attended this festival are Dr. Arkadev Bhattacharya, Sri Surajit Bhowmik, Smt. Lipasi Bhowmik, Mr. Rituraj Pramanik, Mr. Bittu Mondal. The entire festival is guided by Smt. Soma Dasgupta & Sri Subhasis Dutta. Every year Damru Ninad take many such initiatives to showcase talents. They have a unique membership plan in which only registered members of Damru Ninad can perform in their festivals. Damru Ninad also has many others plans for their members. There are many paid initiatives which they conduct with the help of their senior national members.
Sri Aloke Dasgupta, Secretary Damru Ninad has said, they are having a plan to connect all
the states and their cultural values through this National artist empannelment process. This program has a special motive to bring hidden talents to the stage, giving platforms to the real talented people who are not getting proper opportunities.
Sri Subhasis Dutta, Vice President & National Co-ordinator, Damru Ninad has said Damru ninad is not a festival organising body only, It is a forum of extra ordinary talented artists, Both senior and Juniors. Very soon it is going to start their Workshop initiatives for the needy sections of this country, where sharing knowledge about Indian Classical Cultural Heritage is essential and important.
