Debnrutyam Studio is organizing a 3 day International Dance Festival on 20-21-22 July 2018 at Seva Sadan, Malleswaram in Garden City Bengaluru. Meghna Mishra, a student of Debnrutyam will debut her Odissi dance on the inaugural day.
The festival will witness renowned Odissi dancer Padmashri Ranjana Gauhar performing with Vinod Kevin Bachan, an Odissi dancer from West indies, and Polina Lavrushkina a Russian Kathak dancer along with her partner Pankaj Rawat.
Elena Knyazeva odissi dancer from Russia will be performing with Guru Sri Shingar Mani Debasish Pattnaik, an International Odissi dancer and Founder of Debnrutyam Studio. Rekah Satish, Kuchipudi dancer and Sujay Shanbhag, Bharatnatyam dancer will present a duet on day-2.
The day-3 (22nd July), will start with contamporary dance by Periferia Group(Colombia, USA) , followed by solo Mohiniattam by Dr. Neena Prasad, Kerala wieleth live music and Kathak by Hari Chetana & group. The closing performance of the festival will be presented by Odissi by Guru Debasish Pattnaik & his Debnrutyam students.
H.E Clemencia Forero Ucros (Ambassador of Embassy of Colombia in India) will be the guest of honor of the festival along with other renowned guests like Padmashri Dr. Sunil Kothari, Mr. P. Venugopal (Regional Director, Indian Council of Cultural Relationship), Ms. Tapati Chaudhari (Senior Editor Statesman), Mr. Vijay Shanker (Senior Journalist), Smt. Vjayanthi Kashi, and Odissi Exponent Smt Sharmila Mukharjee.
