The BANDISH Network and Classical Claps have brought their resources together to offer meaningful advocacy for global Indian classical music and dance communities.
This will be achieved through collaboration, co-creation, coordination, and the combination of capabilities which generate value-based content going well beyond the perceptional thinking.
ClassicalClaps.com, an ezine for Indian Classical Dance & Music, was launched on International Dance Day 2018, and its following is strengthening as an outcome of focused attention to the world of classical music and dance.
Created in 2016, The BANDISH Network responded to the larger calling for ideation and incubation as a key influence for creativity to empower shared values which propel meaningful movements, especially for the guardianship required for the gen-next. As a valuable online network, TBN serves with key objectives to influence a collective mindset toward partnerships & leadership that honours the histories upon which our successes are built. The network has proven to catalyse, connect, inspire, develop new dialogue and redefine ideas for the holistic advancement of: interdisciplinary artists, aficionados, producers, presenters, teachers, observers, sub-cultural groups and panels, thus building confidence in collaboration, giving accurate representation with equal accessibility for new initiatives and the opportunity to power up vital relationships. The Bandish Network is mobilised by Vois Créatives, a Heritage Arts boutique agency.
Nina Buddhdev, creator of The Bandish Network says, “Keeping our artists’ domain at the very heart of our vision, the agenda of this association is to ‘connect, empower and create’ for a fuller understanding of the Indian Classical arts movement. Our intentional leadership aims to inspire peripheral perspective, connectivity, progressive dialogue & perpetuate greater understandings of the artistic milieu and cultural interrelationships available to us. Together we may build upon this commitment to further the work for genre-specific musicians & dancers, whilst always honouring the global patrons who have carved the pathways. This is an exciting time to expand interests, become advocates, take risks and share your artistic practices, knowledge and vision, which all in all, help build for a richer future, as a collective community.”
Announcing the collaboration with The Bandish Network, ClassicalClaps official said, “Our objective is to elevate art and artists of Indian Classical genre and so is of The BANDISH Network. We are excited to collaborate with the spirit of such qualified resources and we look forward to reaching out to more and more members of Indian Classical Music & Dance Communities across the globe, with creative thoughts that will help the community in collate interests”
ClassicalClaps.com has created a dedicated section for The Bandish Network on its portal.
