Mumbai based National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), in association with Citi Group has announced Citi-NCPA Scholarship for Young Musicians (Hindustani Music) for the year 2019-20.
The monthly scholarship of Rs. 7500/- will be given for the advanced training in Hindustani Vocal (Khayal/Dhrupad) and Percussion (Tabla/Pakhavaj) from April 2019 to March 2020 period.
Any music student of Khayal, Tabla, or Pakhawaj of age 18 to 30 years or Dhrupad student of 18 to 35 years of age (as of 1st March 2019), may apply for the NCPA Scholarship before 31st December 2018.
Interest students may send application (bio-data on music education) via mail to ncpascholarships@gmail.com or by post to the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Nariman Point, Mumbai 400021.
The application must contain personal details, professional qualification, music teachers/gurus, achievements/prizes/ scholarships and performances and other noteworthy details.
