Bangalore’s leading music institute known as Flute and Feet Academy has organised Nadabhinayam – International festival of dance on 22 and 23rd November at the Indian Institute of World Culture, Basavanagudi in Bangalore, featuring some accomplished artists from India and overseas. This is one of its kind festival to enhance the propagation of Indian classical music and dance and to provide platform to deserving performers.

Aranya and Vivek

Flute and Feet Academy is a distinguished centre dedicated to the pursuit of classical music and dance. Founded by the acclaimed couple, Flute artist Vivek V Krishna and Bharatannatyam exponent Aranya Narain, the academy began its persuit of propagating and promoting classical music since 2010 but officially got registered in 2014. Vivek Krishna is a leading musician in Bangalore, with performances as a soloist and also as an accompanist for several musicians and classical dancers on the global platform. Aranya Narain is also an accomplished Bharata natyam exponent and mentor with several performances both in India and overseas.

The festival features some amazing performers. Bharatanatyam by P Praveen Kumar who is the leading male dancer from Bangalore and is also acknowledged as a fine mentor too. Guru Shankar Kandaswamy is the leading Bharata Natyam exponent and mentor based in Malaysia. The second day features Bharata natyam exponent Aishwarya Iyer S from USA and is the disciple of Vidwan Pandanallur S. Pandian. Mysuru based Mithra Naveen will perform on the second and last day of the festival. The finale performer of the festival will be Bhuvana G. Prasad, disciple of Guru Seetha Guruprasad and Guru P Bhanumathi who will perform Pulinda – the Koravi.
