Lucknow based Bharatanatyam dancer, Ayush Jaiswal has bagged the prestigious Pandit Gopi Krishna award for his remarkable achievement at the young age, in a glittering function held recently at Raipur, organised by All India Dancers Association(AIDA). Ayush is quite excited about this rare honour as he feels quite   encouraged to do better as a male classical dancer.

Ayush is more than just a fine dancer. In a world where classical dance is considered a feminine activity, Ayush has moved forward to break the stereotypes with his vibrant and precise performances. He believes that through Bharatanatyam, he can express a variety of emotions, from joy to sorrow, spirituality to sensuality. Besides winning accolades for his sterling performances, Ayush is  also an upcoming mentor with his online students from India and other countries.

It is exhilarating to mention and enlist some of the awards bestowed on the young and dynamic dancer Ayush like Navodit  Kalakaar award from Chhatisgarh,  Nrityojaswi award from Bangalore, Nritya Samrat award from Uttar Pradesh, Sarvashrestha Nrityakaar award from Mumbai, Nrityacharya award from Nagpur, Kanchankosi Pasupati Samman from Nepal and the revered Rukmini Devi award Kerala. Ayush is indeed a trail blazer, particularly for aspiring male classical dancers.
