Natyashala Academy of Fine Arts, renowned for its dedication to preserving and promoting Indian classical dance forms, has announced the Bharatanatyam Arangetram (debut solo performance) of their talented disciple, Rutuja Jangam. Under the guidance of the Founder & Artistic Director, Smt. Charanya Gurusathya, Rutuja is all set to enthrall audiences with her graceful performance.
Scheduled for Saturday, 22nd July 2023, at the esteemed Natasamrat Nilu Phule Natyagruha in Sangvi, Pune, the event promises an enchanting evening filled with artistry and devotion. Commencing at 5:00 PM, the Arangetram is open to the public, and entry is free for all.
Bharatanatyam, an ancient and revered dance form, finds its beauty in storytelling through expressions and movements. The performance by Rutuja Jangam will be accompanied by a Live Musical Orchestra, featuring exquisite renditions of Nattuvangam, Vocal, Mridangam, Ghatam, Flute, and Violin. The theme of the evening revolves around a captivating Bharatanatyam Margam, taking the spectators on a spiritual journey. The recital will then gracefully shift its focus to express the divine connection of Shringara Rasa towards Murugan and Krishna (Sambhoga & Bhakti), illustrating their significance in the human experience.
